1. Who we are

This website is operated by Inversiones Renaico SpA, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 78.078.771-6, domiciled in the commune of Algarrobo, Valparaíso Region, Chile ("we", "us"), under the brand Retirement in Chile, to offer extended-stay accommodation services in Algarrobo, aimed primarily at retirees from the United States and other countries.

2. What data we collect

We collect the data you give us directly when using the site:

Contact form: name, email, phone, country of origin, preferred arrival date, number of people, plan of interest, and comments.

Payments (once enabled): if you pay through PayPal, PayPal processes your card or account details directly — we never see or store your card number. We receive from PayPal your name, email, and the amount paid, so we can confirm your booking.

We do not currently use tracking cookies or analytics tools on this site. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy before activating them.

3. How we use your data

We use your information only to: respond to your inquiry and coordinate your stay; send you confirmations and receipts related to your booking or payment; and communicate with you by email, phone, or WhatsApp about your inquiry.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Who we share data with (service providers)

To operate the site, we use the following providers, which process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions.

Resend (resend.com) — sends automated confirmation emails (booking notifications and payment receipts).

PayPal — processes payments once that feature is active. PayPal is an independent controller for payment data under its own privacy policy.

Google Cloud Platform — hosts the website.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep contact and booking data for as long as needed to manage your stay and meet legal or accounting obligations (for example, payment records). You can request deletion of your contact data at any time by writing to orders@retirementinchile.cl.

6. Your rights
